The bad news:

[-] I didn't get the Bridging scholarship. :\ This really sucks, because I was depending on that for my housing for Japan this year. *sigh* So I'll have to look elsewhere and keep applying. X.x Ugh. Money sucks.

[-] My dad called. *makes face* I have to call him back. *makes worse face*

[-] Job hunting is fail, so far. :\ I've been out searching with grandma, and I have to do some sleuthing on my own. Any tips? When the unemployment rate is this high, I know I shouldn't be picky, but I kind of need an office job. I can't be forced to stand for eight hours without being allowed to sit down, my blood pressure isn't high enough for that. (Mom thinks I should go for modeling agencies lololol yeah right)

The good news:

[+] I got to see Kitteh yesterday! :DDDDDD It was fun and wonderful. ♥ Even if she tried to poison me. She showed me this which Sarah is apparently too cool to watch (:| :| :|) and this which is ten kinds of hilarious. XD

[+] I've been eating good food and having lots of fun. *_* We went to Olive Garden, and I've had chicken tacos and fettuccine and eggs and bacon and biscuits and alskhfalsfh. <3333 Delicious. Also, we went to the movies on Sunday! We saw Angels & Demons and it was really good. <3333 I don't remember much of the book, so that lowered my standards. xD

[+] I worked for my uncle today and he gave me $40 for it. :D Yay! See, why can't I get just a simple typing job like that, all the time?

[+] My animals are adorable and wonderful. >w< My cousin falls under that category too. XD

[+] This makes me alskfhaslkfhsalfh. >w< So sweet! ♥ ♥ ♥ ILU GUYS A LOT A LOT. :D

The stuff I am neutral about:

[+-] I work for my uncle again on Thursday and Friday. I don't really want to, especially because the Tuesday one is super early, but money is still money. So I think tomorrow I'm going to nurse my cramps and clean out my closet so I can finish unpacking (lololol cries) and get together all the stuff I don't want anymore. And maybe do some more job/scholarship hunting. Today I will finish off by vegging on the couch with my doggie in my lap and my wife-chan on the computer. :D ♥

So I forgot to mention it before, but I saw a shooting star on Thursday! \:D/ I made a wish. It made me happy. ♥

You know what else makes me happy? HOT WATER. *_* The showers are working again. I haven't taken a proper shower since Friday, guys. T_T I washed my hair in cold water on Saturday, but still. I AM NICE AND CLEAN NOW. *bounds around in fluffy towels*

I took my books to the post office today, and goddamn that box was heavy, especially since it was hot out. Nobody offered to stop and help me carry it, either. :| Bitches. And when I got to the post office (which was a dinky little place), They were like 'oh, we don't take credit cards'. ...seriously, wtf. Maybe I'm just spoiled from Vegas, but seriously? A post office, not having a credit card machine? What the hell, man. So I ran over and got some money from an ATM, even though the lady was bitchy and like 'WELL WE CLOSE IN TWENTY MINUTES SO HURRY UP'. Whatever. It's done. *_* Books successfully sent. ♥

While I was at the marketplace, I decided to look around, and I found a Sanrio shop! It was kind of painfully cute in there, guys. SO MUCH PINK. But I bought my thank-you presents (read: candy) for the teachers who wrote me letters of rec, so. :D Yay!

I also turned in my study abroad stuff for Nichidai, and I made sure to stress that I need to know if it's a yay or nay before May 19th. So... all that's left to do is wait! :x Wish my luck, guys. ♥ ♥ ♥

All in all, it was a highly successful day, I feel. ♥ And so, I am happy. I have a paper to write tomorrow night, but I don't even care, really. I got out a lot of bitching about my tea professor with some of the other students, so. XD I feel better.

Oh! I also got my student evaluations back, from the students I did Interchange with (my other job, which I kinda don't have now because they don't have a shift for me, crais), and they all said I was nice. ♥ It made me quite happy. >w< So, yay!

And yes, I did sneakily post on the anniversary of the day Jin got back. XD I just didn't mention it, simply because... it's over, now. And it's still a bit of a painful memory for me (at least, at first it was, though steadily it got better), so every time someone mentions it, I just kind of... I don't know. But I really don't feel like he did it because there were problems with the Jimusho or because he had a scandal or anything like that. I think he's too honest for something like that. idk. I included the hiatus in my ridiculously long ramblings about him way back when, so go there if you want my take on it. XD
