I’ve been typing this post up in Word for quite a while because I have a lot of stuff to talk about, and I’ll just post it when I get a chance. It’s very convoluted, and some stuff is crossed out and updated so it’s kind of a mess, and I’m sorry for that. :x

Watched the inauguration, finally. It was lovely. I like Obama’s honesty, and I think that just the fact that he’s made everyone hopeful is doing a lot. I really hope things turn around. ♥

Went down to get my paycheck on Tuesday (the 20th) and they said it was late because Monday was a holiday. :| WE’VE KNOWN ABOUT MONDAY BEING A HOLIDAY FOR QUITE A WHILE. WHY DID YOU TELL ME TO COME IN ON THE 20TH IF YOU KNEW IT WOULDN’T BE THERE. Bitches.

I keep meaning to post, and then I don't. :\ I've started like five memes, but things pile up and get in the way and posting/commenting/etc. take energy that I just don't have to spare. Let me give you a glimpse of my schedule, even though I know most of you don't care:

So, yeah. I'm going to announce a semi-hiatus. I'll still be browsing the f-list and commenting here or there, but there will be almost no posts until at least next week is over.

In other news, I turned in all my study abroad application stuff. Now I just have to wait until March 1st to find out about it. In the meantime, I will be applying for scholarships left and right (that's actually my plan for this weekend--glorious, glorious three-day weekend--so if you see me goofing off, kick me) because right now I can't even afford another semester here, let alone a plane ticket to Japan. I would really, really, really like to go home over the summer, but I don't see it happening. Considering I don't have time to breathe, I'm not really upset about it, but it's still depressing. :( And yes, this is another 'I wanna go home' rant, but considering how uncomfortable it is here (I have a list of things I could whine about in my head, but I won't), I am entitled, so stfu.

I'm so tired. I was ready to fall asleep at about 7 p.m. last night but we had a fire drill. :\ Teh lame. *sigh*

Anyway, I hope you all are doing well. Those of you who have tests and whatnot (spoon ♥), study hard, but don't overwork yourself! You'll make me worry. *huggles* :) ♥ ♥ ♥ I'll see you soon. Maybe.
