One with the teacups

So considering it's the awesome Gabe Saporta's birthday, I feel like I should once again pimp Cobra Starship, one of my absolute favourite American bands. I won't claim to know everything about them or be their biggest fan, but I love them a lot.

My favourite album is Viva La Cobra, but their first album, while the city sleeps, we rule the streets is very good too. They also sang the theme song for Snakes On A Plane, and they've done awesome remakes of other songs, like Hollaback Boy and I Kissed A Boy, which is totally awesome and I adore it. XD They also did a cover of Billie Jean. Gabe, the lead singer, would also have sex with Johnny Depp.

I love Gabe a lot. XD

Some of my favourite songs are One Day, Robots Will Cry which has connections to one of my absolute favourite fics of all time. :D It's completely unlike their typical sound, and gorgeous. I also love My Moves Are White (White Hot, That Is) because it makes me think of Jin and it's totally awesome. But I'll let you listen for yourself. ;)

In other news, I am totally in love with this and this. They are both stunning and gorgeous songs and I really, really, really love them. *________* I've been listening to them both all day. This isn't the first time I've found myself really wanting to play Castlevania because of the music. XD

I'm still a little bit sick, but I'm feeling much better. ♥ Also, my beloved Adryn-hime is back in Japan! So I am totally happy. :D

In fandom news: Ryo is a sweetheart and Jin goes to amusement parks with foreigners. XD I really loved Ryo's interview, especially the "I think that when a girl and a guy fight, no matter who’s at fault, the guy should be the one to apologise first." bit. I'm not sure I agree, but I think it's very sweet nonetheless. ♥

I had other stuff to talk about, but now I can't remember what. Um. ...Yeah. If I keep talking, I'll probably just ramble about food, and... I'm not Yamapi, so I won't do that. :D *runs away*

Alright, I know some of you don't care, but please vote in this poll regarding the 'postpone until the release date' policy. And if it ends up staying the same, go join yorokobi_no_uta so you can get the leaks early anyway. If you have an opinion but don't want wank, then don't comment, but please vote in the poll, because it affects those of us who actively watch the community.

Yes, I complained on the Jone post because I actively watch 42 communities (out of 68) and thus I tend to miss things a lot, including that supposed previous discussion post about the issue. If anybody wants to know what my stance is, they can troll the comments, or I'll put what I wrote on the KTLOVE post. You can agree or disagree, but be warned I'm on my period and I have a history of debating so I will not hesitate to argue right back. XD

For the record, even my mom agrees with me. XD Yes, I told her. And for those of you who are going to be like "well, waiting a few more days won't kill you!"--no, it won't. That's not the point. It's the principle of how stupid it is. If I want it that badly, I'll whore out one of my friends who can torrent or clubbox, or get a computer that can do that stuff or something. But this rule has the sense of "everybody will post in sparkly pink text on Tuesdays or they'll be banned from the comm". I've never been good with rules that have dumb reasoning anyway (e.g., my high school forbade fishnet arm warmers and leggings because they were "exposed clothing". I threw a fit, even though I don't wear them. XD).

In other news, I am still completely in love with Water Dance and Shunkashuutou, and that adoration only grows by the minute. XD I'm translating them the minute I get my hands on my copy, no lie. *_______* I have a burning desire to translate Water Dance lakshflasfh god I love it so much. ♥ ♥ ♥ I've been listening over and over, hee. >w< Koki's solo is growing on me, even though I still think the lyrics are dumb. XD Guh, I love this album. *flails more*

Also, does anybody know how to rip mp3s off of tudou videos? If not, does anybody happen to have this song? I can't seem to find it in Japanese--I have it in English, but all the ones that say 'Japan version' are entirely in English, too! For the life of me, I can't find it. ARGH. *flops*

So a new Jin solo, eh? I don't know how I feel about that... on the one hand, I will NEVER be upset about a new song from him (*_* NEVER), but on the other hand, I was really looking forward to more Care performances... ah well, we'll see what happens! :3 Either way, at least we have the CD version. *loops*

OMG that was hard. XD I had so much trouble thinking of 20 things that I actually had favourites in... I like so much stuff, but I don't have favourites of everything!

Um. Yes. Jeez, that took a lot of brain power. I don't think I had much else to say... except maybe to complain that THE SHOWERS DO NOT HAVE HOT WATER. I hate cold showers. :| I don't want to smell, BUT I HATE COLD SHOWERS UGH. I guess I'll just have to work out hard before each shower so I'm nice and hot--
