One with the teacups

-Ow. Someday I will learn to pick the comfortable shoes.

-So um. I didn't actually see any JE boys, but I did see like, three vague lookalikes. There was one who I could have sworn up and down was him from afar, but I may have been too busy dancing on top of a chair with some other guy to go check it out. XD;;; Not that I didn't want to, but he was super nice and I felt guilty for basically wanting to go 'OH HEY THAT GUY OVER THERE LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE HOTTER THAN YOU SEE YA'. Especially because I already felt a little guilty that the entire reason I was up there in the first place was because he also looked a little like Jin xD (and he was cuter than the other lookalike). So I basically made up some excuse to go over and check it out, and though I can't say for sure, I'm pretty sure it wasn't him. I don't trust my judgment skills in close proximity. xD

-...Speaking of said guy, I totally exchanged numbers with him ._.;;; Don't worry, I didn't do anything (he was too nice for that!) but it's still kind of weird xD Once I gave up on the idol hunt I basically hung out with him and his friend-who-is-a-girl-but-not-a-girlfriend, who looked a lot like this girl from my high school (Gosha, for Kitteh's reference, if she's curious). XD It was kinda weird.

-He totally either has a girlfriend, or is gay, though. :| For one thing, he is hot, and for another, he was like. Way too nice. Like seriously, even when he was dancing with girls (including me and the other girl whose name I don't think I ever learned--his is Shou), he did not touch them. Even when someone (including me, I am still braindead enough to admit it) was dancing in a very 'why yes, you are hot enough for my liking, please dance in a semi-lewd way in my direction thank you', he wouldn't. o_o Some drunk girl even tried to feel him up when he was up on the chair and he actually like, gently eased her off with this sort of awkward, panicked look on his face alskfhalfalf I will admit it was totally adorable, yes. Um. AND HE DIDN'T LIKE. STARE AT ME IN DISGUST WHEN I TOLD HIM I LIKED JOHNNY'S. He laughed and was like 'oh well they come here often' and even pointed out some guy that looked sort of like Jin for me o_o;;; obvs. I had noted said guy before, considering he was the less-cute one. I didn't want to tell him that the main reason I went over to dance with him in the first place was because he was the cutest of the lookalikes. xD He also helped me keep an eye on Laura when I was a little worried about her, too, which he totally didn't have to do. Um. yeah. Too nice for a nightclub. XD He even texted me this morning saying 'today was fun! (smiley face) Is your friend okay? Let's go hang out with everyone again! (sparkles) Night!'

...must be gay. There is no other logical explanation. XD *has no faith in straight men*

-...idek. what else. Some of the costumes were really good (mostly the girls', there were a couple of geisha-esque kimonos that I was shocked they wore to a nightclub XD), and various things like hats and headbands were passed around. XD idk. It was fun. OH AND THEY PLAYED COBRA STARSHIP so I am happy. They also played Linkin Park and considering I sing along to every song I know, my voice is totally shot today. xD I also still have that sort of fuzzy half-hearing from standing next to the speakers most of the time.

-...I am honestly half-tempted to go again tonight and like. ONLY keep my eyes peeled for idols instead of getting distracted XD but I won't because A. I am too poor (the cover charge was 4000 fucking yen) and B. I am going up to Nikko tomorrow to visit my beloved Adryn-senpai and I don't think it would be appropriate to stumble across Japan half-dead after a night of clubbing. XDD (I'm sure she would understand even if I did, though. ;D)

Suddenly I have a social life. What is this madness. XD idk. Right now I am starving and sleepy though so I will stop my rambling there. I took pictures with a bunch of people BUT NOT WITH MY OWN DAMN CAMERA why am I such a moron. Oh well. Next time.

EDIT: OH YEAH. I SAW THESE right as I was about to go to sleep last night and I sort of exploded. JESUS FUCK HOW IS IT POSSIBLE FOR ONE MAN TO BE SO ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. UGH.

So, it was my first night on the job. I'm really tired, so let's break this into bullet points. Keep in mind that this is really my first job EVER, let alone working food/waitressing/whatever. It was. Overwhelming.

BAD THINGS ABOUT WORK, AND TODAY IN GENERAL:

-JESUS FUCK MY FEET HURT. Ugh. T_T I need something for my heels so I don't kill them. No sitting down for five hours straight =/= happy pixi!legs.
-Never. wearing. clip-on. earrings. ever. again. Seriously, any longer and they would have clamped my earlobes off. I HAVE PIERCED EARS. WHY DID I DO THAT. Never again.
-I barely managed to catch the last bus. It leaves at 11:13-ish. So. :\ Hopefully I'll be able to get out of there soon enough.
-I BROKE A MILKSHAKE GLASS. T_T I was trying to stop the receipt from falling off the tray and the glass decided to take over the job. :\ God, so mortifying. I also nearly knocked off a display case akshflaskhf. T_T AND I AM THE FAILIEST FAIL ICE CREAM SCOOPER/SCRAPER/WHATEVER PERSON THERE EVER WAS.
-...I forgot. e.e There was something else here. Oh yeah. I DIDN'T DO MY HOMEWORK. :| *does it now*
-My hair was doing this funky frizz thing all day. wtf. Also, I missed the bus there by about two seconds. Life.
-No dinner for me.
-Did I mention I'm STILL TIRED?
-The lady who was training me is kind of intimidating. xD
-MY COMPUTER IS STILL NOT RECOGNIZING MY MP3 PLAYER ALSKFHASLFKH UGH.
-I have a math test on thursday. Why does life hate me?
-SO I BITCHILY EMAILED THE ELECTION OFFICE, AND THEY WERE LIKE "OH, WE NEVER GOT YOUR ABSENTEE BALLOT REQUEST FORM." :| :| :| So. I probably won't be able to vote in this election. Unless they mail another one out REALLY FUCKING FAST. ugh. I may cry because of this.

GOOD THINGS ABOUT WORK, AND TODAY IN GENERAL:

-The other two people (Flo-san and Kim) are really nice. There was also this Jamaican girl, I think, who was there, she was cool. And some lady who worked in the kitchen. They were a lot less intimidating. xD
-Every time a Japanese person walked in I got irrationally pleased. :x
-I am awesome at smiling at people. :D
-I have good music! It's easy to get distracted, though. XD
-Alex invited me to sit with him today. *______* Him and his friend. :D They talked calculus a little bit, but his friend is fluent in Japanese and he knows Ryuusei no Kizuna, so we chatted about that. :D We also tormented pigeons.
-Most of the customers were pretty cool. :)
-Our Japanese skit went well. :D Fwee.
-...Okay. Jin's movie. I know you were all expecting me to post KHASG RFOUIW3YT94W8GEHOAIFHAOISUTG2HOF89HIQEFOHOASKFH in big sparkly letters, but I just. I. I can't even flail. So I survived the first week of classes. It's pretty cool. For the basic rundown of my teachers: Astronomy dude is old but excited, Sensei is funny, Anthropology lady is down to earth and awesome, math teacher is crazy and Swedish. She has a French accent. Do Canadians get French accents? :o The classes themselves are pretty cool too, but the textbooks aren't. However, there's no textbook for math, so YAY. :D

I have discovered an amazing skill. It's called "leaving the dorm room". It's an amazing thing--today I went to a cafe for lunch (YES, I HAD FOOD) and while I was surrounded by lovely eye candy, one of the guys was lakshfaslkhlsakghalksgh. He had Kurosagi (or Shoon) hair, guys. It was so sexy. T_T Unfortunately, he was all the way on the other side, and talking to other people, so I had to settle for staring like a creepy stalker. BUT I WILL GO BACK AGAIN. In the hopes that I see him. :D :D :D *bricked*

I need sluttier clothes. :(

My friend Saori is kind of adorable. At dinner the other day, some guy asked me if I was from Japan, and she laughed for like. Five minutes straight. No, really. XD Every time she looked at me, she burst out laughing. XD akshfh It was so cute.

I have a twitter because Rhey made me. It's kind of pointless. :\ But it's pixisticks, if you want it.

The marching band here only plays one song. And it's Shot Through The Heart by Bon Jovi. ...No, I don't get it either.

I have to go to Walmart this weekend. And do my laundry. Me and the iron are BFF, but that doesn't get my clothes cleaned. :\ Not looking forward to it.
