One with the teacups

So considering it's the awesome Gabe Saporta's birthday, I feel like I should once again pimp Cobra Starship, one of my absolute favourite American bands. I won't claim to know everything about them or be their biggest fan, but I love them a lot.

My favourite album is Viva La Cobra, but their first album, while the city sleeps, we rule the streets is very good too. They also sang the theme song for Snakes On A Plane, and they've done awesome remakes of other songs, like Hollaback Boy and I Kissed A Boy, which is totally awesome and I adore it. XD They also did a cover of Billie Jean. Gabe, the lead singer, would also have sex with Johnny Depp.

I love Gabe a lot. XD

Some of my favourite songs are One Day, Robots Will Cry which has connections to one of my absolute favourite fics of all time. :D It's completely unlike their typical sound, and gorgeous. I also love My Moves Are White (White Hot, That Is) because it makes me think of Jin and it's totally awesome. But I'll let you listen for yourself. ;)

In other news, I am totally in love with this and this. They are both stunning and gorgeous songs and I really, really, really love them. *________* I've been listening to them both all day. This isn't the first time I've found myself really wanting to play Castlevania because of the music. XD

I'm still a little bit sick, but I'm feeling much better. ♥ Also, my beloved Adryn-hime is back in Japan! So I am totally happy. :D

In fandom news: Ryo is a sweetheart and Jin goes to amusement parks with foreigners. XD I really loved Ryo's interview, especially the "I think that when a girl and a guy fight, no matter who’s at fault, the guy should be the one to apologise first." bit. I'm not sure I agree, but I think it's very sweet nonetheless. ♥

I had other stuff to talk about, but now I can't remember what. Um. ...Yeah. If I keep talking, I'll probably just ramble about food, and... I'm not Yamapi, so I won't do that. :D *runs away*

Everyone should love raocow the way I do. XD I've watched that video, like, fifty times, but it's still hilarious.

So I mentioned my crazy dream from a while ago, but I never posted it! Silly me. So I will post it now, before I forget.

So, I don't know if I mentioned it, but a while back my roommate brought her boyfriend over they pretty much had sex while they thought I was asleep. After they did it more than once I left her a note on the bed ('coz she didn't come back before I went to sleep) telling her that I could hear them and it made me uncomfortable. Yesterday her boyfriend stopped by (during the day) and he actually apologized to me about it. XD I really appreciated that. I still don't understand how a nice guy could be with someone like Kujira-san, as I have dubbed her (or maybe Hogeisen-san *Shot for being mean*), but hey. Randomly, we ended up on the topic of boybands (because he asked me about my Jin poster) and actually talked for a little bit. XD It was rather nice. She's not so bad when we're actually talking, it's just that we... never talk. *dies*

Unrelatedly: Join sweetbitchjuice. THE BEST KAT-TUN COMM EVER. XD ♥ ♥ ♥ I love it. On the subject of Jin, these photos are gorgeous. I particularly love this one. Everything about it--the way it's slightly off-center, the way he looks like some loner writer in the middle of nowhere a la Johnny Depp in Secret Window. *_* Beautiful. Something about the pose in this one is nice, too. *_* Very natural. And I love pics like this, of him reading. So cute. *_____________* Not too fond of the sneakers-with-a-suit look, though. Jin, stop watching Korean videos. It makes you look stupid, not cool.

Seriously, somebody explain that to me. XD Who on earth thinks it's cool to wear tennis shoes with a suit? If I saw somebody walking down the street like that, I'd wonder what happened to their real shoes. *shakes head* (Don't actually explain it to me. I don't care that much.)

I don't know how I feel about that... on the one hand, I will NEVER be upset about a new song from him (*_* NEVER), but on the other hand, I was really looking forward to more Care performances... ah well, we'll see what happens! :3 Either way, at least we have the CD version. *loops*

Um. Yes. Jeez, that took a lot of brain power. I don't think I had much else to say... except maybe to complain that THE SHOWERS DO NOT HAVE HOT WATER. I hate cold showers. :| I don't want to smell, BUT I HATE COLD SHOWERS UGH. I guess I'll just have to work out hard before each shower so I'm nice and hot--

This is what two weeks of AP testing does to a person. *sigh* At any rate, I'm not gonna repost my message, I'm just clarifying for anybody that I threw off. xD

Buuuuut, AP TESTS ARE OVER NOW! :DDDDDD I am free! All four of them are over and done with until the third week of July.

AP Government: Peace of cake, yo. I might have screwed up on one of the essays, but I think I got at least a 3 or 4.
AP Comp./Lit.: Not as easy, but I still feel pretty confident. I did the best on the style analysis essay, and the open-ended was pretty good. The poetry comparative analysis was sort of death, though, since I had no idea what to say. e.e But yeah. Hoping I got at least a 3 on that one, too.
AP Physics: LOL FAIL. :DDDD Probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever experienced. I drew balloons on one answer, and a little stick figure standing in a puddle with a rain cloud, reaching for them as they floated away. IT WAS VERY SYMBOLIC. I also wrote "I am going to say this answer, but I don't know because my instructor lacked the ability to properly explain the difference between real and virtual images" for another question. ....I would do a dance of joy if I got a 2 on that thing.
AP Comp./Lang: Easy. Well, I mean. Not the easiest thing in the world, but easier than the first English one. Blew through the essays, pretty confident that I did good. :3

So yes! My first finals start on the 28th or the 29th. Essentially, only two more weeks, whooooooooo~! *dances* Still panicking about college, but not nearly as much.

-Don't let me near that het meme. Don't do it. Somebody already took the prompt I was gonna write anyway, but. :\ Don't let me near it.

-Started learning ANOTHER form in karate. It is a black belt form, whee! I like it, even though I just have the salutation and the very first part of it. He never finished teaching me kata 5. ...I don't need either of these for my test. *falls over*

-Everybody should listen to these songs: Candy Pop, Daydream, Hurricane Lily Boston Mari and Kuchibiru Kara Romantica. The first one, my friends played it at lunch yesterday and in the limo during prom, and it got stuck in my head. :\ So I went and downloaded it. *flops* The second one is on that one phone commercial, and it's a gorgeous song. >w< The last two are AAA songs, and the first one is another that gets stuck in your head, while the last one is just a really awesome PV and song. :DDD *pimp pimp pimp*

-I'm pretty sure my hiatus is over, not that I really had one in the first place since I had to check my f-list every day BECAUSE anamuan AND courtess ARE SUCKY INFORMANTS. D< They didn't even tell me about the Lovejuice performance. Such fail.

2. Courtesy of tokyostory, I am totally in love with the band Cobra Starship now. xD It's weird, they're totally not my kind of music, but I really like them. One of the songs makes me think of Jin's dancing (lyrics here, if you're curious). They're going to be here too later this month, but I probably can't afford to go. Poo.

3. Today was my uncle's birthday party! He's old. xP Lmao. The bad thing is, I had a bunch of sweets on Friday, so eating the cake kind of made me sick.

4. I am very sore. T_T Both my arms/shoulders hurt from karate, and right underneath my ribs on the right side hurts whenever I run or do jumping jacks or anything like that. It doesn't hurt too much if I push on it, but it doesn't feel good, either. >.< *whines*

5. Um... *thinks* Oh! I finished a Takki drama, my first one! So exciting. <3 Now I can recover from A Million Stars and feel better and watch One Pound Gospel. Whee.

6. SO BECAUSE YAMAPI'S AN-AN SHOOT WAS AMAZING (I love this little RyoPin competition triangle going on, it produces such amazing results. YOUR TURN, JIN BABY) I FEEL THE NEED TO SPAM ABOUT KIMUTAKU. Because. He did a shoot with the same magazine, and it was equally sexy. And while everyone's seen the Yamapi ones (if you don't have them in HQ, I can send them to you), I want to direct you here as well. Who's objecting to more nakedness? XP That sad... GNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNH. *_*
