Musings

So I just finished the countdown!

for those who haven't watched it yet )

I got stuffs today! A shiny card and stickers from [info]cynicalism, and a neat laptop desk from my grandpa. :DDDD It's shiny and wonderful. Hee. ♥ ♥ ♥ I am happy.

My shoulder still hurts, but I'm using it anyway, because it's New Year's and I can be in as much pain as I want. I won't be doing anything special, but I'm content. :D Countdown makes me very happy.

ALSO I TRIED OUT MY JAPANESE NAME STAMP AND IT'S IN HIRAGANA AND THUS FUNNY-LOOKING BUT I DON'T CARE. MUWAHAHAHA. *stamps everything in existence*

...>.>;;;

Happy NewS Year, all! :DDDD Be safe and have fun! Get drunk because I can't have my annual shot. :P ♥

yasashikute atsukute hikyou na kisu de~

So I can only type with one hand right now, right? :DDD;; I did something to my shoulder--either that or its just gotten too stiff to handle--so this post is probably going to take ages. :\ Sigh. I know I complain about various parts of my body hurting/being sick/etc. a lot, but seriously. This is just annoying. Also, I did a little research about my heart condition (for those of you who don't know, I have Marfan Syndrome) and now I feel like a hypochondriac, 'coz I worry about everything. >.< Blagh. (Though I am planning to ask my mom if the cardiologist ever told her how serious mine was, so at least I'll be at ease then.)

So, I've been fairly active in terms of Japan... ness. XD I finished Ryuusei no Kizuna, read all the available chapters of Vampire Knight, and watched the first ten episodes of Kuroshitsuji. :D I also went to walmart and bought bread and meat, so I have sandwiches now! :D Though for some reason, the bread always dries out on the bottom, like, almost immediately. :\ Even in the fridge. Anybody know how to fix that? Also, I am suspicious of the milk I bought at Walmart because of the blackout, but meh.

Yeah, we had an island-wide blackout on Friday night. :| Now, me, being from Las Vegas and thus a big city girl, I'm used to 15 minute neighborhood blackouts. The street lights didn't even go out when we had power outages, and even if it was for, like, 45 minutes, the rest of the city would still be as bright as day anyway. I am petrified of the dark (we were robbed when I was little, and once I saw a strange man in our backyard at night, etc. etc.) so for about an hour I was sitting up here, by myself, in the dark, with nothing but my laptop screen and my keychain penlight type thing for light. :\ Somebody finally came to get me, and I thought it would be over soon, but I was up until 7:30 saturday morning (we moved around to the cafeteria, then to the lobby of Frear hall, which both had light). It was light enough then for me to come back and go to sleep, and the power finally came back on when I'd woken up. But god, that was terrifying. The entire island was pitch-black and dead silent, and it was cold and windy and cloudy. Very traumatic. >.< T__________T

I watched QoP and it was beautiful and it shall be mine. +_+ Early birthday present to me because my Sims game still isn't working. MUWAHAHAHAHA ILU MOTHER. :DDDDDDDDDD so beautiful. Also, I want countdown links like yesterday even though I don't think its happened yet. *pout*

Um, yes. [info]froidaux got the package I sent her! :D Even though the cream puff went bad. ._. *terrible person* But at least she liked it! Yay~ and *cough* Santa-san gave her a rename token too, so we shall change our names together. ♥

I think that's the end of this entry, since my arm still hurts. So, um, yes. Happy NewS Year, all~ :D
